Liberty was rescued from a horrible puppy mill situation along with at least 50 other dogs and 3 other momma's with nursing litters. Upon arriving at her foster home she was frightened and confused and scared. She was also suffering from a Upper Respiratory infection, a double ear infection, worms, and an eye infection. She was treated for all of these and just when Libby began to turn a corner her puppies began to go downhill. It was found that her puppies had been exposed to distemper and were not strong enough to make it. Rescue groups who also took dogs from this situation have also suffered the same tragic fate. This is obviously devastating for everyone, especially Libby. This causes us to focus specifically on finding the most amazing home for Miss. Libby ever!!! We would prefer she is an only dog as she deserves to be incredibly spoiled since being rescued from her horrible life. I also say no small kids, not because she's ever been aggressive, she's in a home with 3 children now, I just don't think that babies and toddlers would be something she would deserve to deal with.
